my y12 modern half-yearly is coming up, ive bene given a list of topics that my extended response will be on - there'll be a few options (we're doing germany for our national study, and they're on that).

ive left it really late, should i study just one really well or cover all of them?

I'd cover all of them; even if it's really wishy washy. That's because when you've got about 4 different extended response questions on 4 different topics, and each is out of 20, the easiest marks will be from 0-10. So, you'd get about 50/80, even if you spend about 20 mins on each topic.

If you study one really well, the maximum you could get would be 20/20 for one, and about 5/20 for the rest, because you'd have no idea what to write about the others. That's about 35/80. And that's assuming you get 20/20 in your 'studied' topic.

It's easier to go from 0-5 marks, then to go from 18-19 or 19-20.
