0. Nada. Nothing.

But then again, I was doing extra curricular maths at this time last year. I.e. solving RSA encryption by hand.

just make sure you have got notes together, and if possible you begin to learn them. at this time last year i was probably writing notes for 4hrs per night, and didn't get to learn them until the week before the exam. stressful, very stressful, don't put yourself into that position.

Dude, the RSA I was doing is like friggin 7-bit encryption. MAX. Nothing insane.

Oh wait, I did crack a number with 10-bit factors in about 5 mins. But that was just luck, and a big printoff of all the primes under 1024 :D

And did you top all your school math assessments with no studying at all?

That was just first term, so I studied in the week before the exam. I rarely did any work in the first term after school or on weekends.

maybe, he already had finished the maths course the year bfore. LoL
I think he's referring to the 4 unit and 3 unit assessments. But our school didn't set them exceptionally hard. The lowest I got in any 4 unit asessment was an 82.222...% and the lowest in a 3 was 99%

the people who voted more than 1 hours are all insane or just foolish. is this just for math? i wonder why this is in math forum...

in my school the half yearlies is worth half the value as a research and presentation assignment (except for math since you can't do that).... even the trials are worth less than them. so its a really stupid reason to be studying for half-yealies... this early anyways... unless studying more than 1 hours a day is your usual workload for the hsc through the whole year. :)

oh crap my first assessment for math is worth more than the half-yearlies... omg... all the assessments are worth more than the half-yealies... what a school. :p
