Im currently on the final hurdle of the hsc and still trying to figure out the history and memory module. its really difficult to understand what is asked of me. we studied the fiftieth gate by Mark Baker for our prescribed text and were asked to find 2 related texts. i chose I was Only Nineteen by Redgum and Rabbit Proof Fence but having so much trouble seiving out the aspects of history and memory. so i guess what im asking is PLEASE HELP particularly if you are a teacher or a tutor. i have no idea. i understand Redgums text a lot more that rabbit proof fence i just cant identify the history and memory in it. so notes of old excerpts or essays or anything will be great!
