In exams how much working would be required for graphs questions. Do markers just look at the graph and check if u have all the main info. OR do they want you to give some info/brief summary?
So for example if they give a graph of y=f(x) and ask for a)y= 1/f(x) and b)y=ln (f(x)) would this be all the necessary writing
a) when f(x) has asymptotes y= 1/f(x) has roots, when f(x) has roots y= 1/f(x) has asymptotes, min/max f(x) corresponds to max.min 1/f(x) and f(x) = 1/f(x) when f(x)= +/- 1
b) domain: f(x)>0, when 0<f(x)<1 lnf(x) <0 and when f(x)>1 lnf(x)>0 and lnf(x)=0 when f(x)=1
is that enough?
Thanks
