Does anyone have some good grammar notes or a good drilling text for grammar

We use Volare 3+4 which is pretty dodgy....

well, we're using Ciao which would have to be worse.

sorry, I'm no help, seeing as I know *this* much. Hopefully Christine will reply. She knows her stuff ;)

haha thanks

try getting a verb book it has all the verbs and the tenses u need to know.

the best way to drill your verbs is to conjugate them out loud using hand actions.
eg. for essere (to be)

io sono (point to yourself)
tu sei (point to someone else or pretend someone is standing there - u know what i mean)
lui/lei e' ( point to someone else but extend your arm out like your pointing to someone in another group)
noi siamo (make a circular motion with your hand to indicate 'us')
voi siete (as in tu sei but pretend there are 2 pple)
loro sono ( using your whole hand point away as in lui/lei e')

i hope that makes sense but get a verb book and get your teacher to show u how to use it if u have probs.

ciao.
