Hey i was just wondering if anyone has done one of these courses (e.g. Preparation for HSC continuers exam 4 days) offered by Goethe. I think they are like a holiday course - if anyone has done one just share your thoughts on whether it was worth it or just a plain waste of time

I haven't done that one, but I've done other stuff with them. They're definitely one of the best teachers for German in the world, hence the price.
I'd basically recommend that if you've got the time and money (and you like to 'be taught') go.
If you just want more contact with a German speaker or you want general practice, get a tutor, which will be cheaper and revolve around your own knowledge.
