I just got accepted into exchange yesterday, and it looks like im off to Berlin School of Economics in 2nd semester. My knowledge of German is pretty low, only knowing basic sentences and phrases (although im picking it up very quickly). Has anyone taken gmn104 and would it enable me to string a few more basic sentences together or is it really basic?
I'm not too fussed as my coursework is in English and i'd hopefully be staying in the center of Berlin where i hear english is pretty widely spoken, but I just want to be able to communicate in situations where I would need to. I also have to do a 3 week language course on arrival, thats why im wondering if this would be beneficial?
