You only need dotpoints for korea for 'differences in ecosystem management, compared with at least one other location, due to economic, political and sociocultural factors'. The TWO different types of ecosystems for example is a coral reef and a kelp forest.

For example, my class did.
- The Coral Triangle (with the comparison being the Great Barrier Reef)
- The Great Southern Reef (with the comparison being the Rebublic of Korea's kelp forests)

Basically, you only need all the dotpoints for your two DIFFERENT ecosystems, and then your case study on the same ecosystem at a different place you only need the dot point about the 'differences in ecosystem management'.

ohh okay well our two main studies were great barrier reef ( in comparision to florida reefs) and great southern reef (in comparision to korean kelp forests). we didnt really have an indepth look on anything outside of aus as the focus as the syllabus requires oh no😭😭

I don't think that it will be a big deal, as you probalbly already would have a good general idea of the florida reefs.

Ok so my exam predictions are usually either 90% correct or 5% correct like I nearly fully predicted my Term 2 Geo Task and the ENA HSC but predicted exactly 1 question correctly for Legal lol but anyway here are my final Geo predictions.

Section II:

1. They'll probably get us to do a Geographical Inquiry question split in 2-3 parts like "propose an inquiry question for xyz based on the stimulus booklet" and then the methods we'd use for that (e.g. questionnaire, transect, etc.).
2. I also think they'll mainly focus on Global Sustainability, probably a question on global forums, definitely something to do with criteria (e.g. use a range of criteria to evaluate the sustainability of one economic activity you have studied), and I think it'll be very stimulus heavy.
3. I think they will lean towards asking questions which can't really be asked as essay questions for RUP and Ecosystems, probably like "nutrient cycling" or "factors affecting settlement size and spatial distribution" etc.

Section III: Ecosystems & Global Biodiversity

1. Describe relationships between natural systems in Source D.
2. Compare the value of X ecosystem with one ecosystem you have studied OR compare human-induced modifications. (It'll be compare I think)
3. Broader question, e.g. To what extent are management strategies able to mitigate the impact of human-induced modifications. Make reference to the stimulus and one ecosystem you have studied.

Section IV: RUP

1. Analyse the challenges facing ONE large city outside of Australia you have studied OR To what extent have responses & strategies improved sustainability and reduced spatial inequality in ONE large city outside of Australia.

OR something like "Compare the nature of changes facing ONE rural and ONE urban place you have studied." (I hope they'd do comparative between these two I do not want to do 4 paragraphs on Barangaroo...).

Barangaroo was lowk interesting, would happily do a section IV on it.

I am confused about the rural and urban topic, I did Tamworth, green square, Barangaroo, New York. do I need anything else? I think I might need a lesser developed place such as Mumbai to talk about right?

You need:
-ONE rural place (Yours is Tamworth)
-ONE place within a larger urban settlement (For you that is Barangaroo)
-ONE large city ouside of Australia of 5 million people or more (NYC for you)

That's all you need, and then you could also refer to the country/city provided on the broadsheet tommorow. The lesser developed place is more so the old syllabus. You don't need another large city, just one.

WTF IS GEOGRAPHICAL INQUIRY
Like this sort of question:
A local council is collecting data on traffic congestion and its effect on local wildlife.
Propose a geographical inquiry question for this situation. (2 marks)

And then an example could be:
'To what extent has traffic congestion negatively affected the population size of local wildlife?'
