My marketing mid-semester mark was crap =( (just came out today)

How did you go for your marketing foundations mid semester exam huratio?

I got 73% =(
I don't expect anything high for the poster.. perhaps a pass/low credit. Gotta put in alot more work for a distinction overall.

and ull find bstats is the most disfavoured subject
alot of ppl even defer it til the end of their degree! lol

Really? BStats/BIA is one of my favourites Dunno why, just is.

And I got my CMS mid-sem mark back the other week. 85% Average was like just over a pass or just under a pass or something.

SDP is pretty much done. WOOHOO! So glad that thing is over with. Last week was the most stressful I've had all semester because I had stupid ASR essay due the next day. Dunno how I'm gonna go in that..They make you write your expected mark for the essay and final exam on the front =/ I wrote 15/20 at first, then at the end of it, i crossed it out and wrote 13/20 lol. I finished it..but dunno if the content is what they wanted.

Also who did you have as your lecturer btw? Ingo Bentrott seems to be new to the subject.. and makes some of the concepts really hard to understand.

I had Paul Burke. He was great. As said earlier, yes he is very young but he really know his stuff. One of the better lecturers that exist at the uni. It may not just be Ingo making it hard, it might just be that the concepts are hard themselves. I mean some of them are just so full of rubbish

Your the second person to say that Paul Burke was a great lecturer. Pity we have Ingo.. another problem with him is he makes mistakes in his workings, and once that happens it makes it harder to follow. His writing is also messy and he assumes we don't know what the z table or t table is.. everytime we need to use one he goes through how to find a number in it. Well to think about it.. 14% of the people who failed the assignment may need that kind of help.

And yes, some concepts are rubbish.. i picked that up as well lol.
