General Graphing Question (1 Viewer)

Depends.

If it says sketch, and it nearly always does, then I use a ruler to draw the axis, and draw the graph neatly (not worried about scale), labelling all the important features.

For drawing questions, I place an appropriate scale, and try to keep the graph as true to the scale as possible.

do you label the axis or keep it blank, only showing intercepts? Or do you individually label each part

For sketches? Depends:

In a question were I am given a function, I will label asymptotes, axis, points of inflexion, intercepts, max/min (local).

As for those 4U q's were you have a given shape and you must change it, I will only label critical points and points that were labelled on the original question, as well as asymptotes.

Well apparently not neat enough. I've come to this conclusion through the numerous "more care" scrawlings next to nearly all of the graphs I've drawn during premlim and HSC. I'm gonna put more effort in this year, I just wish we got grid paper in exams.
