Hey, I was just reading the Exam Timetable book issued by the BOS, and in the back where it says "Examination Equipment", under the specific exams it says for software that you can have: '(Optional) a flow chart template.'

What is this, and how can I get my hands on one? It sounds like it could be very useful for me, as I am rather bad at flow charts, diagrams etc.

Thanks

Well, if they list it in the exam booklet, you'd think that they'd issue an approved one. Hmm, do you know what it is Sunny?

Edit: My bad, thanks Sunny

Hmm, thanks guys. It'd be good if I could just take in a piece of paper saying the different shapes and what they do, because, in theory its the same thing. I'll check the newsagent, see if they stock them.

It specifies a template, it doesn't specify a brand or anything (like calculators in maths). Just make your own I guess...can they penalise you for that? I have a template myself, saw it hiding in the newsagents. It was like the last one left.

but they can't ask you to draw a flowchart specifically can they? its always an option between pseudocode and flowchart?

I just bought one today just in case!
Just before the SDD HSC Exam tomorrow. :)

Will they check it first? I'm afraid that they might say I'm cheating or something even though it says that we can bring a flowchart template in.
