Re: Draft Exam Timetable 2006

ELEC 1601 june 19th
Maths 1002 june 20th
Maths 1001 june 21st (morning)
ENGG 1804 june 21st (afternoon)
PHYS 1001 june 24th

sounds pretty decent, engg 1804 isnt to hard. I'll probably find physics the hardest so it's good i have a break before it.

Bloody hell! It may be my only exam, but I have missed a few lectures and I have a reasonably large assessment due on 16 June, so i was hoping for something a little later. Oh well, I'll live.

12 days break before first exam. then another exam next day. then 5 days break before 2 remaining exams on consecutive days. I like it!

Oh well...at least the second week of exam week becomes holidays for me...although studying is going to be like hell.

Re: Draft Exam Timetable Semester 1, 2006

This is BS. I have to study for 3 subjects when other people only have to study for 2 for the same exam. They get better marks by default ...

9356 Thu 22 Jun 9:20 to 12:30 10 PHYS3056/3956 SENIOR PHYSICS OPTIONS
9351 Mon 26 Jun 12:30 to 2:10 10 PHYS3940/3941 ELECTROMAGNETISM (ADVANCED)
8081 Tue 27 Jun 9:20 to 11:30 10 MATH3974 FLUID MECHANICS ADVANCED
4714 Tue 27 Jun 1:50 to 4:00 10 ELEC2104 ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND BASIC CIRCUITS
4408 Wed 28 Jun 9:20 to 12:30 10 AMME3500 SYSTEM DYNAMICS AND CONTROL

You have got to be Freaking kidding me. This is possibly the worst timetable ever. 3 Exams within 27 hours & 10 mins...

Re: Draft Exam Timetable Semester 1, 2006

Is the draft usually the final one? If so, I'm set for the following dates:

Mon 19th June (9:20-12:30)--CHEM1611
Wed 21st June (3:00-4:10)--PHAR1615
Thursday 22nd June (1:50-4:30)--BIOL1101
Saturday 24th June (9:20-12:30)--MATH1606

Studying is gonna be hell. Why couldn't I have all my exams either spread out over the 2 weeks, or all clumped together in 2nd week?:bomb:

I've never heard of a Saturday exam. Is this possible? Are there ever any on Sundays?

Yes there are Saturday exams, they do exist. Fortunatley, I personally have never had the misfortune of one, but there are other members here who have suffered it.

30cp is my usual load. If you want to get a double major in science and do a double degree, you've got to overload like nuts.

Is it normal for first years limited to the one faculty (e+b) to have all four exams in the first three days?
