What im confused about is how i determine which one is m, n and which one is x1, x2, y1, y2 for the division formula
question is, P (2ap, ap^2) lines on parabody x^2 =4ay which focus S (0,a) point Q lies on pS produced and Q divides PS so that PQ:QS = -4:3
So we got 2 points, got the ratio of division, but which one should be x1 and x2, and WHY?? also, does it matter which of -4, and 3 is m and n?
