hello everyone,
i'm just not feeling that good with my results. so far I did two assessments tasks and there will be a third one soon next term and then the trials. so far 30% is completed and the next assessment will weigh 30% which will make it a total of 60%. i don't really want to talk much about it but anyways, i got 64% in the first test and then 68% in the next one. i really feel bad because it's not really the idea that i don't understand the question. most of my mistakes are either doing the most undesirable errors such that I lost 17% on my second test by getting mixed up with the signs (such as -ve's and +ve's). also two small questions worth 6 marks in total, i lost 3 marks altogether because i put solved 'x' but put it into degrees instead of radians, and for one of those questions i didn't pay attention to the domain given so i didn't list all the solutions.
Overall, i just would like to know if its still possible to get E4, since there is still 70% left off assessments in % wise. any help on how on how to fix my problems would also help a'lot, it's just when a test is on, i become really nervous and start to not think straight.

thank you

Yes it is possible, you can still significantly improve. A lot can happen in the next 70% worth of assessments.

Silly mistakes seems to be the problem here, I think you can drastically improve your performance by doing as much past papers under exam conditions as you can, preferably at least two weeks leading up to the exam. Having a lot of practice with exam style questions can help to fix up any bad habits and exam techniques. I would really recommend it.

I also like to write a list of common errors that I make during the past papers and stick them on the wall to remind me.

This is essential.

Try to also work through the questions accurately and build up speed. For me, I pace myself to go myself a little faster so I have time to check my work and if I have LOTS of time, redo the whole paper. (Obviously doesn't work all the time). Pay more attention to your common errors to minimise their frequency as twink suggested.

Can you even see the wall anymore?

Oh and you better have index laws up there.
