hi guys, for Module C my prescribed is Unpolished Gem by Alice pung a memoir detailing the Asian migrant experiences and the process of trnastioning into new social contexts blah blah blah blah.
Beofre even starting the module i though The Happiest Refugee which is memoir also detaliling the Asian migrant exoerinces........
however, i recently finished watching the Korean Drama the good doctor btw there is an English remake which mirrors the exact story line. In summary the goood doctor is about a guy with Autism and savant syndrome (genius level skills), the guy comes from an abusive family and most of his child hood he was bulied and emotional tormented by his father.........he had a dream to become a docotor but faces the challange of dealing with his diabiliity and asmilating with the rest of his team at the hospital which he works................ the transition occurs when one of his fellow accepts him and they become close while the other indirectly tease him...............however as time progressed he learns to deal with his autism and begins to show signs of high intellect........
check out the trailer the storyline is too long to be described but've summed up essence of the story.
