Expert system
Is a computerized advisory program that attempts to imitate reasoning of experts. An expert system is a DSS that uses AI to make decisions. Expert systems store and use the collected knowledge of experts to make decisions in complex areas. Without and expert system, a real human expert would be needed to make the decision, but by using an expert system, people who are not experts trained in the area can make informed decisions.
Neural Network;
Uses computer circuitry to simulate the way the brain might process, learn and remember information.
Can be applied to voice recognition and artificial vision.
They work from a basis of prior experience – they learn from experience.
