Hi there,
I am a highly experienced English tutor offering private or small group tutoring for:
- Standard English
- Advanced English
- Extension 1 English
- ESL English
- High school English
Lessons are held at UNSW for 1-2 hours per week (more if required). I have a wealth of educational resources which all of my students can access - including past papers, notes and sample essays for every Module/AOS, marking guides and textbook extracts. Additionally, lessons commonly consist of:
- essay marking with extensive feedback (and I mean extensive - line by line feed back!)
- essay writing skills
- conceptual analysis
- textual analysis (visual, filmic and language techniques)
- creative writing strategies and practice
- comprehension techniques and practice
All the work I set for homework are to assist with school work. I do not give work outside of the Board of Studies curriculum.
Additionally, I can also give you plenty of advice regarding studying strategies, school work, careers choices, how to develop personal skills, interview skills and more!
