yea i want 2 go nxt yr in 2nd semester
mum was like "im not so sure", but after speaking 2 family and friends who said it sounded like a good opportunity, it looks like i can go
atm im thinking of denmark or america, but im not 2 sure yet

That was kind of strange seeing that they advertise meetings for exchange on the 12th of Apriljlh said:

I can't go next year cause of my subjects, I was planning on doing only 3 easy subjects next semester so this year would of been the best for me. Difficult for me to go next year as I have to do Medicinal Chemistry and thats only available every two years at Macquarie.

Congrats on gettin approved jlh, but on that form u submit, dont u hav to give them ur 3 o/s uni preferences?
Also, how long does the whole process take from submitting the form to notification of acceptance?

yeah the deadline was on the 1st april. you get your acceptance notice a couple of weeks later, after an informal interview. i got my notice on wednesday so it took around 1.5 weeks. in the email notice, i didn't get told which of my 3 preferences i got into. i'm expecting a letter in the post tomorrow..
the next step is a reception for those that got accepted on monday, thats where you find out what university you got accepted into.
i think all those exchange meetings this week was for those who are interested in going next year first semester... they had a few more of those meets earlier this semester.

uni british columbia - you need at least a 3.0 to be considered, which i don't have...
