If arg(z-a) - arg(z-b) = theta (where 'a' and 'b' are just constants)
Would the locus be described as:
The arc of the circle subtended by the chord joining the points (a,0) and (b,0), where the angle at the circumference is theta. Not including the points (a,0) and (b,0).

And also, when we sketching this, do I use dotted or solid lines for the lines going from (a,0) and (b,0) to the circumference of the circle?

Thanks in advance

should be from point a to b in anti clockwise direction, where arc is:
- major, if theta is in between 0 and 90 degrees
- semi circle, if theta is 90 degrees
- minor, if theta is 90 to 180 degrees

and yes, not including points a and b

I think you use a solid line for the arc, because it isn't an inequality
