hey, can you guys give an estimate for a friend?

English Standard: 2/95
3U maths: 3rd/80
4U Maths: 2nd/30
PE: 2nd/50
Economics: 1st/30
Biology: 11th/60

School rank: 45th

99.95 is possible if he improves his ranks to third or better in every subject and achieves straight Band Sixes in the examinations. It's a viable outcome. However, it is unlikely.

That's not an estimate. That's a possible outcome. Lol. Estimating is doable but it's a risky business. It's very easy to over-estimate as the achievement of a high ATAR is dependent on impressive external examination results. Even if you come first in English and the top examination mark is 95, yet your exam mark is 70, you will end up with a final mark of 83.

Please don't take the first paragraph of my response seriously, except for the third statement.
