Is ergonomics a social or ethical issue?

I'm not sure cause it is a cause of is it morally right to have your team (Project Management) using bad ergonomics such as furniture which will mess up their back but at the same time it could be social because of the impact it is having on them.

Now this makes me question the whole difference between social and ethical issues again - someone care to enlighten me?

Cheers,

N/A
it's an ethical issue.
An ethical issue is what's morally right or wrong, a social issue is how the environment/society affects a person and the way he works, I'd prefer to say that ergonomics is a social issue rather than an ethical issue.
