I just don't get it
"You should collect your enrolment form from C5A226 during the time period specified for your alpha group. You may come at a later time on that day than specified for you but not at a time earlier than your scheduled time"
far out...
so do we get the enrolment form first... then go to fill in our timetables? or can I fill in my timetable before I get my enrolment form?

fill out your timetable at home, in pencil, so if there are mistakes you can correct them

as it says, you can come at your time or LATER, NOT EARLIER

Is it really necessary to do it at home first? I get back to syd (from overseas) at 7:30am on the day that i have enrolment at 3pm, and so won't have time to look over that timetable stuff...

Btw, all we need to bring to enrolment is our TFN and like $600 right?

edit: apart from obvious stuff like ID.

I would strongly suggest doing it at home first. Putting together a timetable takes a lot longer than you think, well over the half hour that is designated for your enrolement on the day.

If you're overseas, get on to the MQ web site and use the timetable maker ( http://www.timetables.mq.edu.au/class/2004/ttmaker/student.asp ). From there you can enter in all your subjects, put together a timetable and then just fill out your forms when you get back to Sydney.

But yeh, just don't rock up on the day and expect them to do it for you. They're nice ... but not that nice ;)

Well I have done it at home... I'm asking about filling our timetables into the computer...
it's just that my name isn't until towards the end of the day and I don't have time to waste..... argh
and what if all my selected classes are taken?!!?!?! OH NO! Why couldn't I have been given a different surname for the sake of univesity enrolment??
:(

In that enrolment booklet it says you don't need to bring any money
$378 student activites fees can be paid by 27th feb, HECS must be paid before 31st of march

I'm not buying textbooks yet... I don't want to carry too much around when I'm probably going to be there most of the day (no credit card either :( )

There's a whole heap of stuff we have to bring, just check that booklet

The thing is that i'm not in australia and so don't have that book (and i've never even seen it).

What is in the handbook that we need? We can still manage without it, right?
