im just enrolling into first yr commerce...if i want to do a major in finance n i choose the finance subjects for both semesters right now, is it possible to change majors during the year...or do i have to wait until second year?

also, what if i want to do a double major? which subjects do i choose right now?

n with FINS 1612 and 1613, how much maths is involved? like would it possible to go really well having done only 2U maths at school?

By changing majors, if you mean dropping the finance major, then of course it is possible, the 6UOC FINS1612 would just be considered an option.

If you want to double major accounting/finance, you can either do FINS1612/FINS1613 in first year, or do FINS1612 and legal environment of commerce (don't know course code). I don't really know which one is better given I am only doing a single major in finance.

FINS1612/1613 are easy subjects. 2U maths is already overkill for it in my opinion.
