Hi everyone,

I'm doing a module on 'Journeys' for my prelim exams, and I've got 3 texts, some poems, 'The Corpses' Bride' and also I 'elected' to do the book 'Eldest' by Chris Paolini. Is this a good choice? I'm struggling to find any sense of journey in it besides the physical overcoming of obstacles etc...the basic stuff...but I'm not sure if it's too late to choose another text. My exam is next wednesday...the 11th i think

Thanks,
imoO

Every text is a journey. The physical, metaphorical and symbolic journey that the composer takes the responder on, through the use of the text. The journey is the interpretation/reading of the text, and the destination is what meaning the individual has made of the text.
