ENGLISH PAPER 2. how many realted texts do i need for each module!! (1 Viewer)

hey i just want to know. how many related texts do i need for each module. i know that for module B i dont need any.

and what kind of format can the questions ask for?
like essay format.. speech format.. letter to editor.. but is there any more?

module A - images- smauel wagon watson. how many poems do i need to know?

Module B- drama- shoe horn sonata

module c- instituions and indivuals experience- Raw ..

text types: speech, letter, review, report, feature article, newspaper article (unsure on this), interview, radio transcript (unsure on this), etc.

afaik u don't need relateds for anything besides module c (at least for me)... and they never ask for more than 2.

I would have at least two related texts prepared for Module A: image (i'm doing Truman), Module B like you said is a close study of text & Module C: institutions and the individual (also doing raw) you should have at least two related texts prepared..
as for the structure of Module A, essay.
Structure of Module C however could be anything.. i suggest just knowing your texts inside out and memorising the necessary quotes/examples.
A suggestion is know compliance/protest, whether the insititution encourages rehabilitaion and also the positive and negative effects each institution.

((Some suggestions for related texts (if you haven't already got them) are The Shawshank Redemption directed by Frank Darabont or Sleepers.))

im pretty sure module A on needs 1 related text since every exam so far it only required one

Since when does every exam require one. Its at least two.
I'm not so sure about standard but for me
Powerplay = 2 related texts
Transfomrations = none
Speeches = none

however i have to ready.

but im still not sure about module A.
my thoughts and info from friends say its 1 but... my english teacher told me that it probally will be two... i asked another teacher and they said the same thing.
but i dont wanna memorise to much texts because im doing images samuel wagon watson.. and we have to memorise atleast 5 poems from 7 of his poems. so tahts why i want to make 100% sure.

but thanks for the help and suggestions my suggestion was " the island" a movie by micheal bay.

Dude, just have 2 texts for A. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Wilfred Owen War Poems- with nothing
Educating Rita - with "easy does it" << no one ever does this poem xD Bruce Dawe

I just called up that HSC line thingy, and the guy on the line said that if the question is worded "with reference to AT LEAST ONE text of your own choosing", then you will not lose any marks if you only refer to one text.

Is anyone doing the bush tucker man,stories of survival for module b?

when it says refer to your prescribed text, should i mainly focus on 1 or 2 of the 4 in my essay? I did a practise essay today and would struggle to go in depth on more than one in only 40 minutes.
