How come english ext 1 scales poorly even though it is an extension?

English is only the best 2 Units

It can count though, if it's part of your best ten units.

The HSC only counts your best 2 english units and I did 11 so unfortunately my economics took precedent over my extension English . Although I loved the subject nonetheless, taught me a lot of things I could apply to adv. english!

What do you mean by "best 2 english units"??

For your HSC 2 units of english are compulsory.

That means even if you do 12 units, out of those 12, 2 units from English HAVE to count.

so seeing as though I did 11 units, 3 of them being English, only my Advanced English marks counted and the rest of my subjects performed better than my ext. english mark, hence it wasn't counted
