Engineering Report Question (1 Viewer)

So I've seen many sources saying that for the introduction of an engineering report it should just be a short intro about the purpose of the report, background information about the items involved, brief detail about the method involved and results that were gained and so on.

I'm doing my report on a balsa wood bridge which I made, I'm not really sure what the purpose of the report is though. Any clues on what I should talk about?

Was there an aim, a design brief or goal you had to achieve by making the bridge? Like tension testing the bridge (seeing how much it can weigh or support before falling apart) for example. If so, try and mention that in your report.
