Does anyone else find all this phase 1, cpr, english writting, problem statement/restatement technique a total waste of time.

I do. I hate it. I think its useless. Everyone just bullshits the stuff, i mean knowing the design process is one thing, and knowing about the stuff from carl's 7th april lec is usefull, but this problem statement/restatement technique and phase 1 is shit.

yeah its rubbish but you just have to get through it

last year we noticed that the easier projects such as the civ eng wooden bridge and the lego robot had more reports and writing to do, while the more difficult ones didn't require as much

its still a fun subject though

the bridge itself is made out of straws but will be attached to a curved wooden structure.
