I have the std excel book (i was give it ok! lol)
and it's pretty much pathetic.
instead of buying the book, buy a study guide specifically for one of your texts.

That way you will get a lot of help for one text rather than 4 pages each on all of them..

ps. I have the old bookwith change as the AOS. So i don't know how helpful the journey section is...
