Eng Extension 2 compared to Maths Ext 2 (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

I know that I shouldn't base by subject choices by scaling factors and etc. I'm in year 11 I just want to know whether Eng Ext 2 scales as ridiculously as Maths Ext 2 does? I read in another post that if one was to get a high E3 they would be guaranteed and ATAR of 98+. It sounds too good to be true. Any knowledge is invaluable! Thanks anyways!!!

If you get an E4 in EE2 and get band 5's in every other subject, you wouldn't get an atar of 98
Your atar relies on the combination of all your marks/subjects not just on one subject

EE2 doesn't scale as well as MX2 however it still does scale well.

As you said though, you shouldn't choose your subjects based on scaling. You will be scaled down i you do shit in any subjects, so pick subjects that you like/ that you're good at
