Hi,

Just wanted to know the employment options in general? And does it benefit me in the company managerial positions?

Thanks

Doing a dual degree won't benefit you much in terms of jobs. However if you are interested in both fields, then do both.

I'd recommend just sticking to one.

Some companies do value the double degree though, such as IBM. A double degree is also helpful if you're thinking of going into highly competitive grad roles like IB or management consulting. Doing engg/comm also means you can apply for any jobs in the comm side or engg side. It won't benefit you in managerial positions though, you'll still need to progress up from the entry-level job and that will depend on how well you perform on the job.
