DVD rom problems. (1 Viewer)

A few days ago i made the stupid mistake of putting a dvd in my dvd rom from the video shop. When i opened the dvd, my computer automatically reset itself. Now when i try to watch dvd's on my computer on windows media player, the sound is distorted and the pictrue moves twice as slow. I try watching on power dvd but the same thing happens. How can i fix this problem??

erm, that's really weird. btw, i don't see anything wrong with putting a dvd from a video store into your dvd rom.

maybe your dvd rom changed regions, and now it's all weird cause the regions of the dvds you are watching doesn't match. that's my shot in the dark.
