Hey guys,

I'm writing this for advice on whether I should drop a class. I'm in Year 12 and have 12 units.

Recently, I got accused of using Artificial intelligence (AI) in my society and culture assignment, which I never used!) I had a meeting, and they decided they would not give an N warning but a mark based on my words and not what the TurnitIn Report states. (They also never showed me that there was a Turnitin report.) I got a final mark of 14/30, which equates to 46%. I have appealed, and it was unsuccessful, and now I am going to appeal to the principal.

I also haven't got far with my PIP report. I feel very lost. I'm wondering if I should drop it. What do you guys think?

That honestly sounds really difficult, I hope everything's alright on your end. Honestly? I don't know much about moderation, but if that's the only subpar mark that you've gotten (keep in mind your goals), then it's possible that - especially with a good HSC performance - this mark ends up contributing basically nothing. It also depends on how well you're going in the other subjects. Do you think you'd benefit from some free time? The PIP, from what I've heard from my friends, takes a hecka lot of time to get done, with all the research and whatnot.

Thanks 4 replying. It's been very frustrating, and I hope it will work out. I'm doing pretty well in my other subjects, it is just math that I have to keep on top of cause that usually is my lowest subject, but atm it would be society and culture. I think I might benefit from free time, especially using it to keep on top of maths.
