double degree with international studies HELP!!!!! (1 Viewer)

does anyone know if i do a double degree on B international studies and B of something else which is 5 years course, they said on the 4th year you will need to go to oversea and study the language you have chosen, im just wondering, What if you do not have enough money to study oversea? i mean even with the help of OS-HELP, what will they do? will i just stay in UTS and keep learning the language or what? cause i heard generally if you go exchange you will need approx $1700 for a month or something like that? i mean i personally have no idea how to get that amount of money =/ even i have a part time job and etc. plus my fam is not rich,
i'd really love to study french and go to france for a year though!!!!

does anyone have similar experiences ?

You have to go on in-country study or change to single degree.

Well I am doing Japanese right now and a guy in my class is planning to do a thesis instead of the exchange. Apparently you can do that but I haven't looked into it. Maybe you should enquire with someone at enquiries about it.

if only we all had money to go on exchange
