So recently I posted about changing classes: from pdhpe to biology. I'm not enjoying pdhpe like I did last year, and I'm not at all engaged in the work.

I asked to change classes and they said biology is full.. they have the maximum of 24 students. I am very upset about this because I really don't feel I can work well in pdhpe.. the only way I can get in is if someone drops out which is unlikely.

Does anyone know if there is any way they could let me in as an exception? I asked my science teacher from last year about this and he brought up the fact that one of the senior science classes was about 3 people over the limit.

Do I have any chance of changing anytime soon? :/

YES YOU DO! IF YOU CAN GET A WRITTEN NOTE FROM A TEACHER ALLOWING AN EXTRA STUDENT!

thats how my friend got into legal studies with me (Y) we both hated software >.> and decided we'd change to legal, i was on the waiting list at no1. for 8 days and someone dropped, but I didn't want to dog my friend so we checked we the teacher if an extra student can join she was like yeah sure. and wrote the note (Y) haha she included a part to the deputy "I am superwoman I can handle an extra child"

but all comes to all. JUST ASK THE TEACHER OF THE CLASS

Sciences are different to many other subjects due to safety concerns - so a subject like Legal might have a maximum of 30 while a Science 24 could very well be the maximum.

Objection! Haha,

I believe BOS released a new limit of having a maximum of having 24 students per class upto 25 with teacher permission.

At the beginning of Year 11 many schools will start a course with one or two over as they know that it is usual for some students to drop the course, particularly after the first assessment task.

Our school had a deadline for when you could change subjects until, and that has already happened

Your school might have one but most don't and certainly not after only two weeks.
