The title was cut off when I looked at this and I thought you were talking about quantum mechanics. I'm afraid that I have been dissappointed in this regard.
However, this concept is quite intriguing. I can't say I've heard of it. Maybe you can only drink a very small 'quanta' of beer at a time.
