I've heard that all scale up well. Is this correct. Sorry, I'm new here, and don't know if I'm posting this in the right section or not.
I am actually not sure how to answer this.
But I will answer this as best as I can.
Mathematics has an average scaling of 30.5/50, which is quite reasonable. However, the way scaling system works is not linear. It is highly exponential (i.e. the better you perform, the higher SCALED MARK you can expect).
For example, let's say I got 60/100. The scaled mark I get will be patheticall low like 40/50. However, if I got 90/10, the scaled mark I get will still be less but the difference between the scaled mark and the raw mark will only be like 2 or 3 marks (instead of like 20 marks in the first example).
In general statement, all subjects are going to be scaled down. However, the better you perform, the better scaled marks there will be.
Economics' scaling is quite high in comparison to other subjects. It is similar to Chemistry's scaling. Mathematics' scaling is average. It is about 30.5/50. Ancient History, unfortunately has low scaling. Therefore, you need to get high marks in Ancienty History to expect high scaled marks.
