hey my task to to write a letter to convince the publisher of king lear not to discontinuing the publicaiton of the play who believe that it no longer is relevant to today's society. ,,why hsould the work be continue??help me out people..i have to talk about the litery merit and blah all details..the importance of it as a contemporary dramtic texts

Becase sertain themes in the play are still relavent to contempoary society. Power, greed, pride, loyalty, patriarchy.

Hey ,

And I think your teacher will be looking for the appropriate form, like write fake to and from addresses and use appropriate register and persuasive and logically structured points. Address the letter with an attention/regarding line:

"Re: Discontinuation of King Lear publication and its relevance to a modern context."

Also, even though it's a letter, use examples, like:
"The relevance of this text to a modern day society is evident when X says "..."."

And finish with a "Yours sincerely" perhaps?
