Total no. of 7 digit no. formed by using the digit 1,2,3,4,5,6, 7,8,9 which is Divisible by 8

(II) Repetition of Digit

Hint: The divisibility rule for 8 is that the last digits must be divisible by 8. For e.g. 99008 is divisible by 8 but not 999999. Try going from there...

First step is to go and figure out how many 3 digit numbers are divisible by 8, only use the digits given and have no repetitions. I just went through with a calculator doing them one by one, if anyone knows a faster way please let us know! once youve dont your list its a pretty simple combs+perms question
