wait... is this the one about the 'nawlins flood? i seem to remember it being announced. weird cast, anyway.
he's already directing another english film, the lady from shanghai (apparently not a remake of the orson welles film). let's hope this isn't a case of 'asian auteur does hollywood hackwork'. or if it is, he does it to get funding for stuff he wants to do.
