Yeah. So after like a month of waiting and wasting time (not really wasting time..researching and talking to people more so)..Ive decided to sign up to MedEntry. Although, I'm a big fan of reading and highlighting..guess this is just how it has to be. I really wonder if you could like print screen and have copies of the stuff on screen...I wonder if that would be ok with them if you didnt like sell them or anything retarted like that. Oh well. Tried getting this guy to sell me his AMEPP stuff, and he didn't..so oh well.

Any comments? I really want to get going on UMAT technique over easter break. I've basically devoted most of my holiday to it. So yer.

OH AND...There are no pre-reqs for Med yeah? I've seen some say Chem is..I should really check with all the Med faculties at various uni's. I'm seriously considering ditching 3U Maths and just go down to 2U - dunno if it would be a wise choice as of yet. Everyone says oh keep it its good for scaling. But it's not good if you do crap. I came second in prelim on 75 (first was 76)..and in 2U I came first on (96..second was like 92 or something). Bout to do my half yrly for 3u on monday..so yer.

The University of Melbourne, Monash University, Bond University, James Cook University and The University of Tasmania all have prerequisites.

Hmmm...I'm not sure if NSW 2U Maths (NOT GENERAL..Just Two unit) converts with
"..Satisfactory completion of the VCE and a study score of at least 35 in VCE Units 3 and 4 English (any), Chemistry, and in one of Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics or Physics, and undertake the UMAT".

I think I'll just keep 3U. I'm not terrible at it at, and I don't want to regret it. I don't do Chem though...which I guess would be a problem for the few uni's that have it is as a prereq. Hrm.

I think 2U Maths is VCE Further Maths and 3U is VCE Math Methods.

I figure, I'm sitting UMAT..so I might as well apply for as many uni's as I can. Plus, you can list as many interstate ones as you want, can't you? I'm under that impression atm...but I'm yet to go have a chat with the career's adviser about applying for interstate universities. I dunno. I just want to get in anywhere..just want to live my bloody dream. Damn. Why couldn't I dream to be like something that didn't require such hard work.

After my last assesment period, i am seriously considering becoming a bricklayer. It would be so much easier.

UMelb Medicine is fucking hard to get into anyway.

Not many people want to do med at UMelb after 2008. Bsc and Biomed for 3 yrs then 4 yrs grad(if you kill gamsat immediately on your first try). Monash is going to have a ball from 2008 onwards..
Besides, wouldn't you have got in with the UMAT stream.

Signed up to medentry a while ago now.

They are good. Good good good. Reading on the screen gets a little annoying after a bit, but then you remember the cost you paid for the course and figure..live with it or it was a waste of money
