Hi, my school uses the CSSA trial paper. How hard are they? How hard was the 2021 CSSA paper? Thanks

Hi I did the CSSA 2021 paper last year for advanced and extension1

I would say it was easier than the HSC if that gives reference, but there were still some hard questions ... it was doable. If you know your stuff and have put the practice in, you should be fine. Personally though, I would say it is on the upper end in terms of difficulty levels

I don't think I'm allowed to give/show the paper due to copyright reasons and all the sorts but feel free to ask me any for questions and I'll try my best to help

Thanks for the reply. What topics did the harder questions involve. What was considered a high mark for the paper? Thanks

There was a tough statistics question, there were a few graphing questions at the end of the paper, as well as the usual challenging max/min question

Unfortunately however I'm not exactly sure what was considered a top mark, sorry about that. Rough estimate would be 85-90+ but again, not sure

That's really helpful. For statistics was it like normal distribution or variance?
