Living only half an hour from the NSW/QLD border most of the people in my year are considering QLD universities (the main choices being Griffith and UQ) but I haven't seen any talk about these universities at all. So I was wondering what the general opinions of the Brisbane based unis were and if many HSC students here had gone on to attend them. ...it would be really good for weighing my options to get some firsthand opinions

hahaha you live in Murhole.

I used to live in TWEED and many of the students have gone to Griffith in Brisbane (I think).

There aren't any issues with this...I'm not sure what kind of response you are looking for..(HSC students somehow not equipped to study in QLD ?)

UQ is a Go8 uni and is prestigious. Nothing wrong with Griffith too IMO....
