Does anyone have any ideas for how to start a creative writing story??..

I have an idea of what to write about, but know idea how to start.. :S.

It would be great if someone could be some examples.

yeah I know.. I did..

But I'd also like to get an insight of what others are doing...

for my creative writing piece i came up with so many ideas..but pretty much all of them sucked coz i didnt know what i was writing about.
i used my ext 2 story- it was the easiest coz i'd already spent all year writing it so i knew it by heart.
i had to write stories for my teachers all thru english- you could try adapting a story that you wrote say in year 10 or something. then you already know the story and how best to fit it to woteva your required to do. look up past papers and practise adapting it to those.
because mine was a crime story i found it fit really well with my Q last year.

yeah pplz struggle with creative writing because, we all want some sort of structure to go by like the introduction, main body, ending... but this thing is, try writing without these elements lol be creative. srsly dont put restrictions on urself in terms of braintstorming ideas, this is jus the start, the intro can be long, short, or none at all depends on how u wanaa customize it. and YES RRRREEEEAAADDD somehow that never comes across to people.
