podiatric medicine, you still known as a doctor who specialise in the leg. This is such a wonderful profession, you can also further your studies to become a surgeon for leg.

They can use Dr in their title but they can’t do certain procedures. I am unsure about becoming a surgeon for the leg as far as I know you can only do this through a medical degree. Podiatry can be boring as you will be cutting nails, scraping calluses as the main job.

can nurses ever become doctors?
Only if they restudy for a medical degree.

Hey Medman,

Podiatry is branch of medicine, which you only specialize in the leg and feet. Podiatry is not boring, I am sure their is many other procedures that a Podiatrists carry to examine and treating problems that people commonly experience with their feet and a Podiartrists also plays an important role in addressing chronic conditions such as diabetes.

Read this http://future.uws.edu.au/future_students_home/ug/science_and_health/podiatric_medicine and also please watch some youtube videos on what exactly a podiatric surgeon does.

It is true that your known as a doctor but you also can do certain procedures....(Youtube).... You don't do a medical degree (medicine) to become a podiatric sugeon, you can do a Bachelor of Health Science/ Master of Podiatric Medicine at UWS only 80.35 Atar.
