Does each uni apply the same type of conversion GPA rates to equivalent UAI's when deciding on transfers.

From what I read here:
- GPA of 5.5 (what I'm currently on) is equivalent to 93 UAI.
- GPA of 6 equivalent to 96 UAI.

Does the above apply to all uni's?

What would an equivalent UAI be for GPA's of 5 or 5.25?

The conversion tables appear in Frigid's thread at the top of this forum, in the attached PDF file.

This is the standard that UAC uses for external transfers.

Ok thanks.

So if I maintain a GPA of 5.5 after 1 year and try to transfer to B Bus at UTS, which has a cut-off of 90.15, I would have a good chance of getting in? As a side note, I called UTS and they said they take only your uni results if you complete at least one year of uni studies.

No, he is correct, specifically for business.
