context of BR/BNW PLZ HELP!!! DOIN EXAM ON IT SOON......

sum1 plz help!!!
can sum1 give me a good definition on wot they mean by discussing the context of BR/BNW?!
ppl have given me very vague definitions and im getting really confused...

BNW was made between WW1 and WW2 when people were feeling pretty unhappy with the current system of government and were disenchanted with the capitalist economy due to the great depression. Therefore he explored what it might be like if a different system of government was in power. No these ideas are not backed by any sort of evidence, they are just my first impressions after reading the book once and looking at the year of writing

BNW: emergence of extreme left-right political groups. European countries are being overthrown into more unstabilised governments (Weimar Germany, Communist Russia) and Britain narrowly avioded a revolution itself.

Modernist ideals, people sought to find a meaning of life without god and in the hopelessness of the world at that time. This is shown when john commits suicide to symbolise the loss of hope in the BNW type society.

BR: end of Popular culture, public well educated and aware of environmental pollution, political corruption, the role of corporate firms and the media has in distorting reality and changing countries policies.

Post-modernist ideals, the meaning of the film is distorted in a way that its interpretation relies solely on the perspective of the responder. Eg, the responder is left to decide whether Deckard himself is or is not a human.

Do you guys think it is reasonable to say:

- Since population growth began around Blade Runner's time, in the film there's overcrowding and language barrier between ppl.

- Brave New World was written in between WWI and WWII, there was prob hatre between the nations. Thus in the novel's world, ppl have lost the sense of value for human life.

My history knowledge is TERRIBLE. Can somebody plz briefly explain:
Revolution (did it occur in BNW's time?)
Totalitarianism
Modernist ideals (enter~space~cap said that ppl began to sought the meaning of life without God, is this related to modernisation?)
