i was reading a book by excel and it has written, "locus questions are not part of the syllabus and you will not be tested on them" this book is little old, published in 2000. i was doing questions out of Fitzpatrick and came across a few locus questions. Did they update the syllabus or does the fitzpatrick book have extra unneeded stuff?

The only locus questions you can be tested on are those involving the rectangular hyperbola.

i believe the syllabus hasn't changed for 20 years or something.
I'd assume that locus questions are still available for testing.
syllabus has changed. i havent come across any locus questions in past papers, but did come across them in trial papers .... so yeh, just know how to do it i guess.

The last syllabus change occured in the 1980's or something.

They used to have stuff on circles in it (as you can tell from the Coroneos supplyment book) but they put more stuff in and cut the circles stuff out.
