What do you think will be the most likely 2013 hsc question for this section? I'm suspecting one from Growth of European tensions but what else do you think?
I heard trial questions give an idea for what the actual hsc question is, right? If so, tell me, what were your questions for this particular section? Thanks!:awesome:

In past years, there is always something before September 1939 and after 1939.

There are only 4 syllabus dot pts before Sept 1939 compared to about 12 after.

It's worth studying either impact of civilians or turning pts (Air War, Barbarossa, El Alamein, D-Day)

– the air war and its effects: The Battle of Britain and the Blitz, the bombing of Germany: 2008
– Operation Barbarossa, the Battle of Stalingrad and the significance of the Russian campaign: 2010, 2007
– Battle of El Alamein and the significance of the conflict in North Africa to the European War: 2009

– social and economic effects of the war on civilians in Britain and EITHER Germany OR the Soviet Union: 2007, 2012
– Nazi racial policies: the Holocaust and the persecution of minorities: 2010

– ‘D’ Day and the liberation of France: 2011

This is a list of the syllabus dot points and which questions have been asked to date (thanks to D94 for composing this list). I'm thinking they could ask a question on the end of the war or the dictatorships maybe.

I hope they ask about the dictatorships or appeasement since the outbreak of the war hasn't been asked in a good 4 /5 years. Also possibly turning points (African Campaign, air war)

Dictatorships in Germany and Italy is such a dead-end dot point
