Computer Engineering (1 Viewer)

Hey,
Does anyone know much about computer engineering at UNSW. I'm considering it next year as i'm currently in year 12. I think it's a new course and can't find much information about it in terms of job's and stuff in Australia. I heard its half electrical engineering and half computer science. Am I better off doing a degree in electrical engineering or computer science instead of computer engineering?

I mean it depends on what you want to pursue. Elec and Comp sci are very field specific whereas Comp Engi is much more broader by the looks of it. So you'll have the qualifications to design computer systems in a wide variety of fields.
